This information is stored locally on your device only and is not automatically transmitted to us.

All data entered into TripCompass is used solely to provide app functionality, including:

Organizing and displaying your travel plans

Calculating trip budgets and summaries

Generating packing lists and travel insights

We do not access, process, or store this data on external servers.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data remains stored on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.

While we take reasonable measures to design a secure application, please note that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

4. Data Sharing

TripCompass does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Data may only leave your device if you choose to:

Export trip details

Share information manually using your device’s sharing features

5. Internet Access and Third-Party Services

Some optional features of the App require an internet connection, including:

Location search (e.g., places, cities, points of interest)

Weather previews and forecasts

These features may use third-party service providers. These providers may process limited data (such as search queries or location inputs) as necessary to deliver functionality.

TripCompass does not store or control data processed by these third-party services.

6. Permissions

The App may request certain device permissions to enable features, such as:

Location access (for location-based search and trip planning)

File access (for attaching documents to reservations)

These permissions are used solely to support app functionality and are not used to collect or transmit personal data to our servers.

TripCompass is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
